Join Pat Walker Health Center’s Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) for their end of semester event: CAPS Play Day! Featuring dogs from Fayetteville Animal Services, K9s from UAPD and so many more four-legged friends, this is a wonderful opportunity to destress and unwind during the chaos of incoming freshman week. If you’re feeling apprehensive about your exams, former Resident Assistant (RA) Nick Stauffer suggests that you attend CAPS Play Day. If you’re an animal lover, then it’s a no-brainer…. Who wouldn’t want to spend the afternoon with loveable dogs? The event will also feature activities to take your mind off of those stressful final exams, including ornament making, henna tattoos, DIY journals, coloring sheets and more stress-relieving activities. Events like this are what Stauffer would often look forward to during his more stressful semesters at the University of Arkansas. A wonderful opportunity to destress, unwind and have a little downtime during the chaos, CAPS Play Day can help you achieve peace and calm when it might feel impossible. Finish your semester at UArk strong with some love from four-legged friends from Fayetteville Animal Services and working K9s of UAPD!
